My name is Brian Pinson. I’m one of Baltimore’s native sons and I'm on a mission to capture the essence that lies within the city’s denizens, neighborhoods and culture as a means to boast its deep, rich history and unique perspective through the lenses of my camera. Baltimore deserves to be documented, celebrated and branded through a lens that appreciates the past while also bringing a new age style to a classic environment. I enjoy capturing photos that contain a strong sense of kineticism and life. Whether it be in Black and White, Sepia, or, color, my brand of photography is bound to show through.

 

My passion for photography developed later in life and it’s proven to be my new driving force making me explore, appreciate and fully digest the environments around me. In my travels to places nearby like, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and D.C., and places far such as New Orleans, and Las Vegas, I’ve gained a new understanding of appreciating the moment. And with each place, came its own identity, people and culture. Through visiting these places I’ve come to realize that my love for photography isn’t capturing the moment but, enjoying the relationship of my own identity, people and culture to another; bringing a stronger bond to the place that made me a loving father, a professional sports fan, and loyal resident to the culture and neighborhood of my hometown.

 

Every photo is a record of a moment in time. Why not record those moments in Black Ink and make it last?
